2021 - 2025Roll : Castle Design & Animation Produced at Spinifex group“Illuminate!” at Shanghai Disneyland
Illuminate, the nighttime spectacular show at Shanghai Disneyland. For this 16 minute show, I designed and animated theme driven castles using various Disney IPs. The entire animation is synchronized with projection mapping, fireworks, and laser lights. The specific castle sequences I was responsible for were Mulan, Coco, Avengers, and Castle Rosas.

For the Avengers castle, I revised existing 3D models to fit the castle’s silhouette. For the other castles, I hand crafted the 3D models carefully from scratch, using screenshots from the films as references.
